Intel’s Arrow Lake desktop processors are expected to be released a bit later than previously thought. A retail site has already listed them for sale.

The first processors from Intel’s Arrow Lake family, also known as the Core Ultra 200 series, are expected to hit the market in about a month and a half. The official release date is anticipated to be October 24th, which is one week later than initially reported.

This information was posted by the website HKEPC on their X (formerly Twitter) account. Historically, HKEPC has provided accurate leaks, although in recent years the site has been less active in that regard.

As is typical for Intel, the first models to launch will be the K-series and their F-versions, which lack integrated graphics. In the case of Arrow Lake, these will be the Core Ultra 9 285K(F), Core Ultra 7 265K(F), and Core Ultra 5 245K(F).

These processors will be paired with Z890 motherboards featuring the new LGA1851 socket, marking the end of the LGA1700 platform, which was introduced three years ago. Intel launched the LGA1700 platform in October 2021 alongside the Z690 motherboards and Alder Lake Core i-12000 CPUs. This was followed by Raptor Lake (Core i-13000), which added more E-cores and larger caches. The Core i-14000 was essentially a higher clocked refresh.

Listed in the UK

The British retailer Lambdatek has already listed five Arrow Lake processors, with only the Core Ultra 9 285KF missing. Preliminary prices range from €336 for the Core Ultra 5 245KF to €666 for the Core Ultra 9 285K (non-F). These initial listings place the lower-end prices below the recommended retail prices for the Core i5-14000 series, while the higher-end models are slightly above the suggested prices for the Core i9-14000 series. However, the official pricing for Arrow Lake could vary significantly.
